The logo design was my task where besides the name of the society in Hungarian (Aalborgi Magyarok Társasága) I wanted to express our aim by using the Danish and the Hungarian flag: we would like to make some positive changes in our life here, in Denmark by networking, fusion and organizing exciting common activities.
Our second meeting was an informal celebration of the 20 August which is a Hungarian national holiday, the day of our first king St. Stephen (Szt. István) who founded Hungary and the the day of the new bread. Here is the invitation:

Please also mention, that the 20th of August is primarily the day of our first king St. Stephen (Szt. István) who founded Hungary. The new bread day celebration was added only during the communist era - which I never really understood, because good bread is still very hard to find in Hungary. Unfortunately nowadays Szt. István is scarcely mentioned and the press writes a lot about new bread's day, which is very sad in my opinion. We should be more proud of Szt. István instead of our mostly poor quality bread.

By the way: I don't know the current bread situation in Hungary, but here, in Aalborg we celebrated this day with delicious home made bread (and gulyás and pogácsa - of course).
